d as the internet gets flooded with more and more AI. Content, people are gonna trust companies and brands even less. The only way to build trust without a one on one interaction with someone is through video.
OpenSo AI generated content is everywhere now, and I keep seeing the same two predictions about how this is gonna progress. One is that oh my god, the AI content is getting so good, pretty soon most of the content on the internet is gonna be AI generated...

90% of the leads I've received for my digital marketing agency in the last month have come from TikTok or YouTube. I'm not saying that to brag.
I just wanna talk about how effective video is right now. As I've said before, video is the only way to actually build trust with people without having a one-on-one interaction with them.
Most of the business owners I talk to will tell me that if I can just get someone on the phone, if I can just talk to someone one-on-one, I can almost always sell them. But that's the thing.
You can't talk to everyone one-on-one. Even if you had the time, most people aren't gonna trust you enough to give you their time to have that conversation.
But they'll scroll through TikTok, they'll watch a YouTube video, they'll watch a video on your website. There's a reason why video and especially things like podcasts have really blown up.
It's the only way that you really get to see who someone is. People are very slow to trust these days...
at video is so effective right now is because 99% of people aren't willing to do it. People are scared or they're worried it's gonna be cringe and maybe your first video will be cringe.
It is a skill, but here's the thing, you've probably already developed the skill. You're going on zoom calls, right?
Maybe you're facetiming with friends. Most of the time you just need to stop getting into your own head and talk the way you would naturally talk to a group of friends.
And that might mean making 10 or 20 bad videos first, but it's so worth it. This is a marketing cheat code that is available to you right now.
So take a break from scrolling on your phone, record a bad video and keep doing that once a day. You don't even have to post the videos if you don't want to.
I bet you'll be surprised how easy it is to start getting traction.
So AI generated content is everywhere now, and I keep seeing the same two predictions about how this is gonna progress. One is that oh my god, the AI content is getting so good, pretty soon most of the content on the internet is gonna be AI generated.
And the other is that everyone is already sick of AI generated content and no one's gonna want this in a few years. Who's right?
Well, both of them, kind of. If you remember a few years ago when AI generated content was truly terrible, people were still paying a lot of attention to it because it was new, it was novel.
And right as people start to get sick of it, it gets way better. Everyone's talking about how cool this new AI tech is, and this cycle just keeps repeating.
Most recently we've seen this with the v. 0 3.
Now, like every other phase, eventually v. 0 3 will just be commonplace and people won't be talking about it anymore.
But probably right around that time some new video generator is gonna come out, and I imagine the cycle will keep repeating for a few years. So what can we predict about the world two years from now?...
