In fact, as of right now, not much has changed. However, I do think that most of the SEO community is kind of ignoring the fact that big change is definitely coming.
The truth is, SEO can never really die completely. As long as there are search algorithms, there will be ways to optimise for those algorithms.
And even when AI is doing more and more of the work, they're always going to be using some kind of search algorithm. However, that's the change that many SEO's seem to be failing to recognise.
