Podcast guesting / content leverage

It occurred to me yesterday that most small business owners are sleeping on what's probably the biggest opportunity in digital marketing right now. And I'm gonna tell you what it is, and then you're gonna say, nope, nah, that's not for me.

But please, just hear me out. Podcasting.

Now, I don't mean running your own podcast. I think we all know the world has too many of those already.

I mean being a guest on other people's podcasts. And I know this sounds painful and cringe worthy and, like, a huge waste of time, but please, just let me walk you through why this is so valuable.

First of all, for most podcasts, this only takes about 15 minutes to one hour of your time. The podcast host has to do most of the work, of course, and you get to tap into their audience.

Now, of course, you're not gonna be going on Joe Rogan, and maybe this podcast host doesn't even have much of an audience. Still worth it.

Pretty much all podcasts now happen over video calls. Do you know how hard it is to get a decent video for social media for the average small business?...

taken dozens of hours or thousands of dollars. But wait, who's gonna watch you on their podcast anyway, right?

I already have a handful of podcast scheduled, so I'm now recommending this to all my clients. I really feel like it's the highest leverage marketing activity you can engage in in 2025.

You need to get yourself out there. You need to build a personal brand.

This is the easiest way to do it.
