If you're just starting out, if you're a small business and you only have one or two employees, you might not want to invest fifteen hundred dollars a month into an SEO plan. If you're looking to maximize the extra leads you're getting in those first few months, you're gonna get way more bang for your buck in Google Ads or Meta ads.
Now don't get me wrong, SEO is definitely worth the investment. It's just gonna take you some time.
It might be six months or a year before you see the real payoff on SEO. And if you're just starting out, it might not make sense for you to invest your money.
Most new businesses you're gonna get 90% of the benefit of SEO by making a Google Business Profile and making sure you fill out every field there. And just having a website that clearly explains what you do...
ll have more reviews by that time. You'll have more activity on your Google Business Profile and on your website.
You'll have more mentions of your business around the internet. You'll have more links pointing at you.
All of these things amplify the effectiveness of SEO. Campaign becomes way more effective once you're an established business who is actively getting customers.
At that point, you would be foolish for not investing in SEO. And if you have the budget, by all means get started early.
It is a long term strategy and you will be better prepared for once you have those customers. But if you're just getting started out, you don't have a big budget and you need leads now.
Please don't put the majority of your marketing budget into SEO. Look at Google Ads or Meta ads or something.
That's gonna bring you leads today.
