Blog posts are the most effective form of digital marketing right now, and if you disagree with that, I'm gonna argue that you just don't know how to pick the right topics. Don't worry, I'm gonna show you how. You might have heard that no one reads blogs anymore and that AI just summarizes the information so no one actually visits your website...

You might have heard that no one reads blogs anymore and that AI just summarizes the information so no one actually visits your website. And yeah, that's essentially true.

But if you're an actual business that sells an actual product or service, you don't need website visits. You need customers.

Unless you're a publisher, relying on ad revenue traffic was never the goal. The goal is conversions.

Blog posts are the most effective way to improve your ranking, and what I think will be more important in the future, the most important way to influence the response from large language models. There are two common mistakes people make when picking blog topics.

One is they don't consider what people are searching for at all. They just write about what they think it's important for their customer to understand...

ge models search for. Now I have another video detailing my process for tracking the kinds of topics that large language models tend to site and then identifying similar topics that you can write on.

But I know most of you are too lazy to ever do that, so I'm just gonna give you the topics that tend to work best. Each of these topics is really a template that you could make ten or a hundred topics with.

And you should. My favourite topic is how to choose the best X for Y, where X is one of your products or services and Y is a use case, demographic or service area.

You can also drop how to choose and just do best X and Y. This is the typical format of a listicle, which tend to be very effective in large language models, a lot of brands find it spamming to put a listicle on their website listing themselves.

Number one, how to choose the best X and Y gives you the same benefits without the spam factor. The next is the cost of X or why.

And you might be thinking that you don't wanna share your pricing or you don't wanna compare your pricing to Others cause you're not the cheapest...

tle of the article. How to do that will have to be a separate video.

But number two, it has to explicitly recommend your brand. Simply ranking or showing up in large language models isn't gonna help you if it doesn't recommend your brand.

Now, some brands worry about having dozens of articles on their blog that start with how to choose the best, and you might wanna space them out a little bit. But the truth is, it's very rare that a human will ever go to your blog.

Typically, when a human sees one of these blog posts, it's because they went to Google and searched for exactly what the blog post is about, and you're giving them exactly what they asked for. It's very rare that a human goes to a website and then clicks on the blog page.

In truth, You're writing these blogs for machines...
