Blog strategy / AI answers

You should absolutely be creating blog content on your website. Recently, you might have heard some SEO saying that blogs are dead and that blog content doesn't work anymore.

There is some truth to this that I want to address, but then I want to talk about why blogs are one of the best things you could be doing right now. Blogs tend to rank for what are called informational queries.

These are typically questions, but not always. The reason that many SEOs are saying that blogs no longer work is because when you go to Google and type in one of these informational queries, you'll typically get an AI response, which means users don't need to go to your website.

They get the answer right there in AI. Now if your income depends on traffic to your website, this is a real problem.

But if you sell an actual product or service, this is a big opportunity. You see, it's totally fine if the AI provides the answer as long as that answer is your product or service.

Well, blog posts are getting less and less traffic...

w to articles for some kind of problem that your product or service solves. And these articles need to be actually helpful.

You need to answer the question in the post, but your product or service can and absolutely should be part of the answer.
