However, this time it does have a little more teeth because of AI. Now, we don't know to what degree people will stop using traditional search engines.

To me, it's hard to imagine why anyone would want to see 10 blue links, especially considering how good AI is gonna be in two or three years. What we do know is that fewer people are using traditional search and more people are using AI to get answers.

Now, how much this actually affects you is based on why you're trying to get traffic from search engines in the first place. If you need traffic to your website to make money, for example, if you make money from ads or affiliate sales, I really do think you're in trouble.

AI is going to swallow up that traffic. If you're a business in the real world selling a product or a service, people are actually gonna depend even more on these kind of algorithms to find you...
