AI optimization / experimentation

I'm currently in Ottawa meeting with some of the smartest people I know in SEO and AI optimization. I got invited to come up here because I'm part of a community people, people who are doing SEO for themselves or for other companies and who are especially interested in AI.

I've always been a part of a few communities like this, but I feel like it's become especially important today. If you work in an industry that has established best practices, then communities like this aren't quite as necessary.

You can get most of what you need just from following experts online. But when it comes to something brand new like AI optimization, there really are no experts yet.

The only way to learn and keep up with this is to run experiments or to talk with people who are running experiments themselves. And so these days I found myself spending a lot more time in these communities just talking with other people and comparing notes.

So far I've only spent about an hour nerding out over AI with these super smart women. I'm pretty sure I'm the only dude here, but it's been a ton of fun...
