Digital marketing is changing, the way companies do business is changing. So I just want to share one way I'm changing how I do business I think it's just gonna be better than how we've done it in the past. Essentially I'm open sourcing my business processes.

So you've probably heard of open source in software development. The idea is that you make all of your code public and you let other people contribute to it. So the benefit is that you get hundreds or thousands of software engineers working on one project and finding ways to make it better.

And in return all these software engineers get access to your code. So you don't have to pay anyone, they get free code. Everyone wins.

I'm starting to do the same thing with my business processes. I think this would work for a lot of businesses. Finding other people that are doing what I'm doing, which is essentially feature focused SEO and I'm giving them access to all of my SOP's and all of my internal documentation.

And in return I'm just asking that they provide feedback and any ways that they think I can improve my processes. Now it's not truly open source cause I am picking right now who I bring in, I wanna open it up to dozens or hundreds of people that do what I do. And there are a few advantages to this one.

Of course I get a huge team of people. Thinking about how we could do things better. But also I develop a network of partners that can help my clients, and I can truly know that we're all on the same page about the best way to deliver this service.

So I just wanna put the idea out there in case there's anyone that's interested in joining me or any businesses who might benefit from open sourcing their own processes. And I know the open source community is gonna hate me for using the term that way, but that's the best metaphor I can come up with.
