A lot of people have been saying that S E O. Is dead, or at least dying, and this is partially true, but not entirely. Now, people have said S E O.

Is dead for years. However, this time it does have a little more teeth because of AI. Now, we don't know to what degree people will stop using traditional search engines.

To me, it's hard to imagine why anyone would want to see 10 blue links, especially considering how good AI is gonna be in two or three years. What we do know is that fewer people are using traditional search and more people are using AI to get answers. Now, how much this actually affects you is based on why you're trying to get traffic from search engines in the first place.

If you need traffic to your website to make money, for example, if you make money from ads or affiliate sales, I really do think you're in trouble. AI is going to swallow up that traffic. If you're a business in the real world selling a product or a service, people are actually gonna depend even more on these kind of algorithms to find you.

So I don't know if we'll call it search engine optimization or AI optimization or AEO or GEO, but as long as there are algorithms recommending one business over another, there are going to be things you can do to rank higher and show up and be represented. Better in those algorithms. Right now, it's very similar to SEO with a few extra tricks.

But of course, it's going to evolve over time. If you want to prepare for that change, my recommendation is get as much content out there. It's high quality, representing your brand as possible.

Why I'm making these videos. One video like this can be repurposed into 12 versions of high quality content within 30 minutes. If you're interested in seeing how, let me know.
