The only ones that I've seen survive it have put serious graft into original and hyper niche content. They've been supplementing with content on YouTube and building a brand around their niche. Even they have lost revenue and traffic from AI.

I know this is gonna p- people off, but some of you really need to hear it. Niche blogging is over. I actually made the mistake of setting up a niche blog just before ChatGPT launched. I think it was about treadmill desks or something. And I bought a course on niche blogging that came with a community of people that were all doing the same thing...

I know this is gonna p- people off, but some of you really need to hear it. Niche blogging is over.

I actually made the mistake of setting up a niche blog just before ChatGPT launched. I think it was about treadmill desks or something.

And I bought a course on niche blogging that came with a community of people that were all doing the same thing. Not even gonna lie, I lost interest with that niche blog after like 4 posts.

But I did keep up with the community because I find it really interesting to see their insights on. And within days of ChatGPT launching, they were freaking out.

They could all see the writing on the wall. And they were right, because now, three years later, ChatGPT and AI overviews have basically annihilated like 95% of niche blogs.

The only ones that I've seen survive it have put serious graft into original and hyper niche content. They've been supplementing with content on YouTube and building a brand around their niche.

Even they have lost revenue and traffic from AI. So no, I really don't recommend starting a niche blog...
