AI-search content needs information gain: unique data, experiences, stories, or other knowledge that is not already present in ranking pages.
If you're asking AI what to write, you will never come up in AI search. Don't ask AI to copy what ranks. Google is deliberately trying to wipe out copycats.
You need to add what we call information gain.
Information gain is information only you know. If you just take what's already ranking and rewrite it, you've added zilch, zero, nothing, no information gain.
Information gain is the difference between what Google already knows, what people have already said, versus what new information you're contributing. They patented it, it's pretty cool, you can read it if you want.
But the TLDR is that if you have zero information gain, it will not pull you in AI search. You need to share your unique data, your unique experiences, stories, frankly, whatever the hell, or else you will not come up in AI search.
