Alright, so most of you still don't really get this about website SEO, and we need to address it.
Loads of you in my comments all the time asking me: how do I optimise for AI search? Does this tip apply to AI search? How do I do this for AI search?
Website SEO in 2026 includes AI search. Google have literally just announced that they are leaning way more into AI Mode being the default way people are searching.
So when you're optimising for Google, you are optimising for AI search. And more importantly, if you've been focusing on visibility rather than rankings, then you're already doing what you need to do.
But if you're still obsessing about rankings, clicks, using ChatGPT to generate one click blog posts, you're just following out of date practices.
It's not like you're not optimising for AI. You're just not optimising for any search engine.
