A robots.txt file that disallows the whole site can make every other SEO effort pointless until indexing is unblocked.

I can't tell you the amount of websites I've seen made this mistake, even when they've had professionals working on their site. This is why my course, the SEO Clinic, has an entire module on this foundational technical because it is so easy to miss.
Here's what you need to check. txt. This is an example of a healthy robots dot text file.
It's telling search engines to index the site. It's doing everything it needs to to get the right pages index.
If you see disallow followed by a forward slash and nothing else after it, this is a problem. This is effectively telling search engines to completely ignore your website and that you don't want them to crawl or index it, which means they're never gonna show it in search results or mention.
If you see this, all of your SEO efforts are completely pointless. You need to fix this first.
