AI literally searches for your FAQ page before deciding whether to recommend you. But the FAQ page most businesses have? Useless...

If you want AI to recommend your business, I'm gonna talk about one page you definitely wanna have on your website. This is one of the most common pages AI will look for when they're trying to get more information about your business. And when you build it right, you can strongly influence how AI talks about and recommends your business.

I'm talking about an FAQ page. Before you say, oh, we already have an FAQ page, or I know about FAQ pages, this is nothing new. FAQ pages for AI are different than FAQ pages for SEO.

When people create FAQ pages for SEO, they tend to include the types of questions people would search for when they're looking for this type of business. So for a personal injury attorney, it might be something like what should I do after getting in a car accident now?

FAQ pages like this were actually always a big waste of time because when someone actually searches for a question like that, Google is always going to show a page with that in the title. They're not going to show an FAQ page covering 20 other topics. FAQ pages were never worthwhile for SEO because no one searches for FAQ pages, but AI does.

But AI isn't searching for an FAQ page so they can get answers to common industry questions. AI searches for FAQ pages to get more information on your specific business. You're gonna give it to them.

Think of AI as a new sales rep for your business, and the FAQ page is all the answers you want to load them up with. Think of all the questions someone might ask when they're trying to decide if you're a good fit for them. And then just remove any that you don't already have a good answer for.

You'll be left with is a bunch of softball questions and some common objections for which you have a good answer. Then throw in some questions about your process and how to work with you. And the next time AI is researching your business to try and determine if you're a good fit for the user, it'll have everything it needs to be the perfect sales rep.
