The entire source code of Claude was just leaked, giving us a ton of insight into the features that are coming out soon. There are a ton of implications to this leak, but I just want to talk about what this means for people who are using Claude or thinking about using Claude in their work.

One of the hardest parts of improving your processes with AI in mind is knowing what the AI is going to be capable of in the near future. That's why this leak is potentially so valuable to us, though I genuinely hope it's not too harmful, too Anthropic.

So what are these new features? As a lot of us predicted, they seem to be mirroring the capabilities of Opencl code. Will have a much more sophisticated planning mode.

It'll be able to use an orchestration agent to handle many different sub agents. It'll be able to run continuously, 24 7, regularly checking your GitHub repos for any changes, and constantly working towards whatever goal you've given it.

The most exciting feature for me, and the one that I think has the potential to have the biggest impact on how we work, is persistent memory. Claude will remember not just everything you tell it explicitly, but also everything it learns implicitly while working through tasks. And they can even dream, as they call it, to clean up those memory files and organize the data.

If this is done well and rolls out not just a Claude code, but also to co work and chat. That feature alone could dramatically improve Claude's capabilities for work.

At my digital marketing agency, we already spend a lot of time building, organizing, and maintaining this kind of information. Giving Claude all the context it needs on a given brand, industry, or process is the major unlock that allows Claude to be so effective for work. This could just happen automatically in the background.

It would be a game changer.

There were a ton of other small features leaked in the source code, and a lot of funny Easter eggs as well. If you're interested, I encourage you to check it out.
