If you're seeing a drop off on your organic website traffic, you are not alone. This issue is affecting millions of websites worldwide and it's all over the news. The major reason for this is the Google AI overviews.

If you haven't noticed by now, on a lot of the searches that you do on Google, the AI overviews come up.

People can now see a summary of what they're looking for and they can get the answer straight away. In a lot of cases, obviously, people are not even going to click to the website if they looking for informational words. Now I predicted this already last year and I made some videos about it.

People said, no, I'm over exaggerating, but this is true and you can see what is happening.

Before you panic, take a look at your Search Console or your Google Analytics and see the money pages. Are they still getting traffic? Obviously, are your conversions still the same?

That's the most important thing.

Is your contact form traffic the same? Are your pricing pages the same? Just take a look at this before you make drastic jumps.

If you're still seeing a massive decline, you really have to start investing in search engine optimisation and optimising your traffic and optimising your website for the AI searches over there as well.

We've mentioned this in a lot of videos, but you have to start acting now because it's the AI overviews That is affecting your traffic possibly, and this is not going to stop anytime soon.
