Here's a question I get from business owners all the time. Should you respond to old reviews? And I think the answer is yes.

You might think that, you know, if you responded to a lot of your reviews recently and you got a whole bunch in the past that don't have responses that you don't need to worry about them.

But two things to keep in mind. 1, people will scroll your reviews and see some of the older ones. it's helpful for them to see that you are taking the time to respond.

But I think even more valuable is that when you respond to a review, whether it's positive or negative, the customer that left that review is gonna get a notification saying that you responded. So that can actually be really helpful.

So even if the review is super old, you could leave a little comment and you could say, well, hey, sorry it took me so long to reply to you, but thank you very much for your review. Really appreciate it. And then I might remind the customer that, you know, yeah, they love your business.

And so it reminds them and kind of rekindles your relationship with them and you could be potentially using that to drive more business.
