This is how you create and add an HTML sitemap for your Wix website. Now an HTML sitemap is basically a place that all your website links and pages, or at least most of them are put on one specific page. That's a great way for users and Google to see all the links on your website, which obviously helps SEO quite a lot.
Another big advantage of an Htm L site map is crawl depth.
Now with WordPress websites, for example, you can create an Htm L site map with one click from a number of different plugins, but Wix doesn't have this so you have to create an HTML site map yourself. This is how you do it using Claude. Very simply, give Claude a prompt like this.
I want you to create an HTML site map for me.
Here are all my different site maps. Again, you have to open up your site maps and insert it in there. I've given it further instructions.
I want it neatly done and I wanted the colour coding the same like my website.
That's going to do its magic and do all the code for you. You can see how well it actually works and depending on the size of the website, obviously depends how long it's gonna do it for you. Once the code is ready, this how you add it to Wix.
Go on Wix and create a new page, then add elements and add an HTML element, paste that code in there.
Obviously you just have to resize the code so it looks neat and tidy. Then press publish. I would suggest you to put a link on your footer to the site map and then obviously go add that site map in Search Console.
There you go.
You've now created an Htm L sitemap for your Wix website, which is going to help you with your SEO ratings. If you have any questions, please drop a comment below.
