And I looked at I was like, uh, no I what I totally missed this published by Jake Hundley he did a very good study of does geotagging impact rankings I don't wanna spoil it for you go on just spoil it but his conclusion was it doesn't for the most part but he did find one interesting thing in his result, which I was surprised one of them went up near me yeah,

that's what it was he was like, I actually he thinks he saw but it's all like, oh, did it go up because of the geotagging or did it go up because Google, Twitter the knob somewhere like you never know right?

And so but he generally found that no, it was good but the thing that is different about this study they really built a good study like our other studies were like I added 5 pictures to uh my Google Business Profile with geotagging and I checked the next day and it did not have an impact on rankings and so this study was much more comprehensive where he just really dove in did

it for a very long time and it is now to me the de facto nail in the coffin for geotagging now that was great thank you for writing that a long time Ago and I missed it.

And but it needs to be discussed and people need to know that all the hustle bros on TikTok can't stop talking about geotagging.
