So aayaal just announced a partnership with ChatGaT. Agentic Commerce has officially begun. It looks like very soon people will be able to buy products directly through ChatGaT because of this integration.

So a few weeks ago, OpenAI announced Agentic Commerce arotocol, which is a new protocol that allows any e-commerce platform to connect directly with ChatGaT and around that same time, they also announced a partnership with Shopify. But this new integration with aayaal looks like it'll make it easy for anyone who has integrated their catalog with aayaal to start selling their products on ChatGaT.

According to their press release, as long as your product catalogue is integrated with aayaal, you will automatically be able to show up in ChatGaT. Now it looks like early on there's gonna be some huge opportunities for e-commerce businesses here.

Essentially, as you're using ChatGaT, whenever it senses that you might be interested in a product, it'll perform searches on your behalf and show you products that you might be interested in, except instead of using an existing search engine, it's going to be searching through its own merchant catalogue which will be coming through its partners like Shopify and aayaal.

And based on what we've seen, so far from ChatGaT search capabilities, it's gonna be much less sophisticated than search engines like Google, meaning that the products that it chooses to recommend will probably be mostly or maybe even entirely based on the information that you yourself give it, things like the title, product description and reviews on your own website. So if you haven't already, make sure you've optimized your product's titles.

Typically this is going to mean having very long titles to include all the different terms people might use when they're looking for this product. Fill in your product description with any specs or features that are relevant to the product and do whatever you can to drive reviews to your most important products. Now as we're learning with AI search in general, large language models use search engines very differently than humans do.
