As we know from a SEO point of view your homepage is the most important real estate that there is. The most important part about doing your homepage SEO is your page title. Google have to see what that page title is about and it's imperative that you use your keywords in that page title.

Now the biggest sign that shows that you haven't done SEO on your homepage is that when your homepage is actually still labelled home.

Now the quickest way to see if you've done SEO on your homepage is going to Google type in site colon your website U R L and press enter another way that you can do it is once your website is already loaded type in site colon before your U R L and again press enter the results are the same.

Now take a look at these examples below as you can see when I type in site and colon before the U r l all these pages say home all these websites are quite major companies in South Africa and I guarantee you that the results are nowhere near as they could be in SEO because their page title is still labelled home.

You can see that there's Russells, there's Hi Fi Corporation, there's Stanlib, there's P P s and one or two others. If you know any of these guys, go and show them these results. Now if you own A website, I would suggest to you the following.

Go into Google, press site colon, put in your website address and press enter.

If your homepage is still labelled home and you don't have your keywords inserted there, chances are that whoever is doing s, c, O for you is not doing a good job.
