Sora 2 is insane. And don't worry, this video wasn't made with Sora 2. You can stop looking for the watermark.

But that's exactly what's crazy about it. You can't tell right away. But also no one's really surprised, right?

We all knew this was coming and even though we all know it's gonna be harder and harder to tell which videos are made by AI, I'm gonna make the argument that this is the best time to be making real videos and that's not because everyone's gonna get sick of AI and not wanna watch any more AI videos to the contrary, I think we're gonna be watching more and more AI videos. But if you have any kind of brand or message or need people to trust you at all, real videos gonna become more powerful.

So I like to just speculate about how this might play out, how we might be able to tell if the video is real or not and what this means for you if you have any kind of brand if you don't know, along with Sora to OpenAI released a Sora app. This is essentially like TikTok where every video was created by Sora. Now it's hard to say how popular this app will be.

I currently am having a lot of fun watching the videos, but maybe we all get kind of sick of it just knowing that it's AI. What's clear though is that this is giving OpenAI, some very valuable data. It's easy to see how they could use this data to train their AI, not just to make more realistic videos with fewer mistakes, but to make videos that are more compelling that keep people on the platform longer, more addictive videos.

And the better, faster and cheaper model this gets, the more they'll be able to scale that training. From my point of view, it looks like we're at the very beginning of an exponential curve where AI video just gets more and more entertaining, engaging, compelling. My guess is that Google will follow suit whenever v 0 4 comes out.

And my prediction is that a few years from now, we're gonna have not just a ton of AI slap, but a ton of AI videos that we actually really enjoy or at least that we have trouble putting down. However, similar to our relationship with social media, I think we'll also be kind of disgusted at how much time we're spending with it. We certainly won't trust it.

And I'm not saying people will automatically distrust anything that was made with AI. It's gonna be so commonplace. That would be like saying that we don't trust a picture that came out of Photoshop.

But I do think there's gonna be a demand for real humans on camera and as a brand trying to build trust, the easiest way is gonna be with real video. And I can already Hear you asking. But TJ, how are they gonna know that it's real video?

And you're right, there's a lot of times that we won't be able to tell. There won't always be a watermark. People will find ways to remove them.

There will be open source models that don't have watermarks. But presumably you'll be able to see who posted the video. And most of us have at least a couple sources that we trust.

So as a brand, your goal should be to become one of those sources that your audience trusts. And the best way to do that is to start creating videos now when people can still tell that it's not AI.
