The way that people interface with content online is going to change dramatically in the next few years. All the big AI model makers realize this, and that's why they're racing to become the operating system of the internet.

Google is quickly rolling out their AI mode. Perplexity is pushing their Comet browser. Claude and ChatGPT both have a product that can agentically use a computer on your behalf.

And while each of these products might look very different, they all come from a shared vision of how people will interface with their computers and the internet in the future.

What all these model makers understand is that in the future, it won't make sense for you to be opening multiple tabs on your browser, looking at multiple websites, opening multiple pieces of software for most tasks. What you really want is a smart assistant that can go out and do things and fetch information on your behalf. All these makers see that, and they're racing to build the best version of it.

If you are a business owner or content creator of any kind, it's important that you're paying attention to this. This is going to dramatically change how people find information and choose which businesses to work with. Instead of each individual user going on their own journey and doing their own research, we're going to defer more and more of our decision making to super smart AI models.

It's much too early to say who the winners and losers are gonna be or what this product will ultimately look like. One thing we know will be important is that you have a lot of content representing your brand out on the internet for these models to find.

The two things we're focused on for our company and our clients is tracking where these models are looking before they recommend a company, making sure our brands are mentioned in as many of those places as possible, and putting systems in place to create high quality content at scale.

I believe as we move into 2026 and 2027, the noisiest brands are gonna win.
