This is how you create remarketing lists and audiences inside of Google Ads. If you've never heard of it, Google Remarketing ads is one of the most effective type of advertising that Google allows you to do. What Google say to is like this.
They give you the opportunity to remarket or show your ads to people that have come onto your website in the past.
Now the reason why this is generally effective is that research shows people need to see your brand a number of times before they buy. Now just one point before we go further in certain industries specifically in medical and health and other sensitive areas Google won't allow you to do remarketing at all. In order to create remarketing audiences inside of Google you have to have a tag installed.
You either have to have your Google Ads tag installed inside the back of your website or you have to do it with Google Analytics.
Once this is set up this is how you do it. The first thing that you do inside of Google Ads is on the left hand side click on tools then the next column you gonna look for Audience Manager, click on that plus button and then click on website visitors. As you scroll down you gonna see that Google gives you a variety of different ways that you can remark it to people.
You can choose a window period for example you might wanna follow people that have Been to your website in the past 30 days, in the past 7 days, or 180 days.
The next thing is that Google allows you to follow everyone that's come to your website. Or if you want to, you can be more refined and defined and show people that have either come to certain pages on your website or haven't come to certain pages on your website. Once you've created those remarketing audiences, press save and now you'll be able to use remarketing with those selected audiences.
