Often when people don't understand search engine optimization, the biggest giveaway is that they are very vague and often they use these very fancy terms to throw you off their scent. I sat in a online meeting the other day and what was happening is that the website designers were convincing the owners that they are handling the SEO. And they are more than capable to do it.

They've got a guy who works for them who's in charge of SEO.

And he's meant to be this big expert. The problem though is that the onsite homepage SEO. Has still not been done and these guys have been waiting weeks and weeks for it.

I just asked the question.

I don't think the guy even knew who I was. I said, why is the homepage SEO. Not been done?

This guy started spinning a whole story.

He said, no, we don't rush it and we have to look at a whole lot of technical factors and mumbo jumbo, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. To me anyway, it was so obvious this guy has got no idea what he's talking about. I honestly could do the on page SEO.

For this website with my left hand in 5 minutes.

If you deal with an SEO. Professional, you should see that they're very clear. They can explain things simply and obviously they can get your results.
