The DMCA abuse inside Google to remove pages from search is starting to get absolutely ridiculous. If a DMCA takedown is successful, Google removes the page, or sometimes an entire site from its search results. There are dozens of these fake law firms, each filing dozens of fake takedowns per day with no oversight at all.

Let's say you do it to a flower company on Valentine's Day, the busiest day of the year. They're gone for the entire two week period before and after it. Google, of course, allowed these removals.

No verification, not even a logic check on jurisdiction or content. Submitting a DMCA takedown to Google is a very straightforward process. People have figured out they can automate the submissions with AI.

This needs visibility, this needs pressure. And Google sure as heck isn't going to fix it unless we force them to.
