You guys called me out and you were 100% right about Perplexity ๐Ÿ˜… Just switched my whole team from ChatGPT. The Google Drive integration is insane!...

So last week I made a video about what each LLM is best at and in it I said that I don't know why anyone uses perplexity anymore and you guys called me out in the comments. In fact 18 of you mentioned that perplexity is actually kind of awesome and that was enough to make me think huh, maybe it's been too long since I've given perplexity a shot as in all honesty it had been like a year since I'd used perplexity. These other models have gotten amazing but turns out so his perplexity, you guys were right.

I actually signed up for the Enterprise Pro plan today and I just wanted to tell you why I'm canceling Claude and Gemini and ChatGPT for the rest of my team and just putting us all into perplexity. Most importantly you get access to all the best Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT models inside of perplexity including O3. Now we won't get O3 Pro or Opus 4 but I'm okay with that also spaces which is essentially projects or custom GPT's can be shared.

This is something that you can't do in clad or Gemini and when you create one of these spaces it works just like it would with the other models except when you add files you can actually connect it to a specific Google Drive folder and on the enterprise plan it'll continuously stay updated with that folder meaning any information you want the specific space to have, you can just drag into that folder or update the file and the space gets updated automatically. And that's a huge quality of life.

For our biggest use case, which is the client brand ambassador, for example, this is my agency's brand ambassador. Anytime we want to generate ideas, come up with strategy or generate content, this is where we go. We, of course, are going to provide additional context and instructions based on the task.

We have dozens of templates for that. But doing it inside the brand ambassador space means it has access to everything there is to know about this company. So for example, I could ask it, we're going to run a Google Ads campaign for our SEO service, generate 25 headlines and 10 descriptions for us to choose from.

I can choose what model to use or just use best and let it select the best model. And then you can see it'll actually scan the documents that I gave it and then it comes back with headlines that are specific to my agency and what we're doing.

So again, in an actual use case, I would provide way more context, but being able to set up the brand ambassador projects this way so they automatically update as we add files and being able to share them with all of our team members and the clients themselves if you want to, is what convinced me to make the switch. To perplexity. So thank you for calling me out.

At least for now, this seems to be the way to go.
