Two weeks ago, OpenAI and Anthropic perplexity and other leading AI companies have started referencing LLMS TXT when crawling sites. This is Google Search's relations guy. He gives Google Search best practices to people who have websites.

He just said a few hours ago, for what it's worth, no AI system currently uses LLMS TXT. So somebody is lying. It's either Google, these AI companies, or the company that's reporting on them.

But it's worth noting, if you look at all the big SEO companies you see if they have an LLMS dot TXT, every single one says 4:04. So for all the FOMO about taking time to make one, I'm saying it's too soon. And by the way, the 5 second toggle on LLMS dot Txt solutions will only confuse LLMS more than help them.
