If you're a small business owner with a marketing budget under $5,000, you need to be using AI. If you're paying an agency to handle your marketing, they need to be using AI. Now you might be thinking, TJ, AI makes garbage.

And maybe your agency is even proud of the fact that they don't use AI. The most of them are using AI at this point. And it's true.

If you don't know how to use AI well, it will give you garbage. But the truth is now, in 2025, marketers who know what they're doing Can produce really high quality materials with AI. And it often costs 10% or less what it would cost a human to do the same work.

Now you might be saying, but TJ, humans can do it way better. Some humans, and if your marketing budget is $50,000 a month, then sure, You can afford to hire some of the best designers and copywriters in the world. And if you're Coca-Cola or McDonald's, that's probably what you should be doing.

But if you're paying an agency $1,500 a month to create copy and ad creatives for you, It's probably not going to be much better than what AI could do. At least if the person using AI knows what they're doing, Which just means you're paying 5 or 10 times as much as you should for the same quality work. I've been doing digital marketing for 15 years, And AI doesn't just make me faster at my job.

It actually makes me better. But it is a skill. It takes time to learn what humans do better, And what AI does better, And how to build systems that incorporate both.

So if you or your agency aren't already using AI for your marketing, Figure it out. 2025.
